Structure: The day will consist of 2 concurrent workshops in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. On the registration form you can select which workshop you'd like to do for each part of the day.

MORNING SESSION (10.00 - 13.00)
IMAGE-BASED MODELING IN THE FIELD

The IBM workshop will cover the basics of Image Based Modelling general use and software, will feature a hands-on case study showcasing the workflow and providing tips & tricks, and will finish with a discussion on applications in archaeological contexts.
USING ARCHIS EFFECTIVELY

This workshop will be in Dutch: Na een korte instructie over de achtergronden van Archis zal de deelnemer zelf aan de slag gaan om gegevens vanuit archis te raadplegen. Er is ook ruimte voor specifieke vragen.

AFTERNOON SESSION (14.00 - 17.00)
LIDAR PROCESSING

In the LiDAR workshop the basics of gathering and processing LiDAR data will be covered, followed by case studies from different parts of Europe. The workshop includes a practical tutorial on the processing and visualising of LiDAR data.
3D MODELING IN ARCHAEOLOGY

This workshop will be aimed at digital 3D reconstruction of excavation data, and includes a practical tutorial in which you will step by step learn how to build a 3D model based on actual archaeological features.
